God is saying: Let's clean up some confusion. You have heard some people say about other people, "They are so spiritual that they are of no earthly good." That said that way is so misleading. Look at My Son Jesus. Was there anyone more spiritual than Him?? No!! Yet He was totally spriritual in everything that He said and did. He was so spiritual that He said, "If you have seen and heard Me you have seen and heard the Father, because what I say and do is Him working through Me."
The context of that statement is for people to have balance, But the reality of that statement is to have people fearful that if they press in to Me, they will be unbalanced and useless. Jesus pressed in like no one before or since and I was able to use Him mightily. The idea that I would cripple someones walk is so wrong. The people that, that is spoken of are used by the enemy and not by Me. They have contaminated their walk not with Me but with the sinful nature. They are no earthly good not because they got so close to Me but because they drifted away from Me.
Jesus was never"no earthly good." He was always able to employ Me, relate to people, bring a message, face people with boldness, bring healing, work miracles, and never high-minded that He couldn't relate to tax collectors such as Zacheus, and the preminately sinful including prostitutes. He related to everybody and anybody and met them even on their home turf.
When someone is so spiritual that they are of no earthly good it is because they are following a different spirit than Mine. To think I and Jesus or My Holy Spirit would do that to someone is ridiculous. No, the truth is, the closer you come to Me, the more earthly good you are.
