DENY YOURSELF...

This is an email I received today & wanted to share with the world... Hope it blesses you.

God is saying: I take pleasure in people who deny themselves. Who let go of what they think they deserve according to the worlds standards that have been set up in their lives by their sinful nature. The Spirit wars against the flesh which is the sinful nature and the sinful nature wars against the Spirit. How do you come into play? You are the one picking sides. I said in My Word,"Choose this day whom you shall serve." Even though you have been released by My Spirit to serve Me, you still have to make the choice to do so.

Adam and Eve never fought against themselves; Adam did not fight Adam, and Eve did not fight Eve. And so it is with you. You are not fighting you. You are not wrestling you. As it was with Adam and Eve so it is with you. You are picking all the time everyday from moment to moment who you will serve. The example is Adam and Eve and Eve was tempted by Satan, and Eve did not tempt Eve; CLEARLY Satan was there and Eve was involved as a middle man to pick whom she would serve. Who she would obey. She had to choose whose side she was going to be on. So it is with you. You are the middleman and you are always being presented 2 sides to everything that your involved in and Satan is saying one thing and God is saying just the opposite and you, YOU HAVE TO DECIDE. YOU ARE ONLY A DECISION MAKER.

There is no third dimension of man where man has wisdom or ability on his own. He chooses what has been offered him. The flesh area which again is the sinful nature which is controlled by the kingdom of darkness; that is man without God's wisdom, Satan offers that to you. The human dimension of man is wisdom that is not from God. So, it is Satan's wisdom. There is not God's wisdom and Satan's wisdom and man's wisdom. Man's wisdom is Satan's wisdom. There is and has only been 2 kingdoms, the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness. These 2 have been at war for you and you are what they have been warring for. When you don't pick God's wisdom or His fruit then you have chosen Satan and are displaying his fruit whether it be anger, frustration, lack of patience, lust, roaming eyes, revenge; you know what the sins are and those are demons who you are displaying at that time when you are acting contrary to God just like Jesus told the Pharisees you are acting like your father the devil.

It is important for you to understand that you are operating in only one of two realms at any given time. Light or dark. So your fruit is either going to be good or bad, light or dark and that goes for your actions and for your thought life. Once you get the grasp of this you will see how the enemy has been playing you. You have not been fighting you. The enemy has been fighting you with depression and anger and bad mindsets or lust and perversion or whatever for a long time. That is right you, have been under attack for most of your life and you have been thinking that, that is just the way you are, that everybody is different and that is how God made you. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! God didn't make you angry, that is a stronghold you have probably been fighting for most of your life. God didn't make you highly sexed, that is a spirit of lust that has been bothering and harassing you and probably using you to harass other people to get its' own way.

These are mindsets, that turn into strongholds that you have incorporated into your life and when you can finally see that you have been under attack, used by the enemy, you can then fight them off. If you don't know who the enemy is how can you fight him successfully? Now that you are learning him and how he operates and that he has been using you, with that kind of understanding you can fight him and not accept him and you can throw him down like he has been doing to you. The more that you can identify the enemy the more of an upper hand you will have in this war we are engaged in. If he can't hide from you because you can distinguish him, you can rebuke him and cast down his thoughts and take him down. You will clearly have the upper hand being that you have the Name of Jesus and you can use his Name to fight off those unwarranted attacks.
