Recovery: Day 3

What's up world! Day 3 was busy for the most part... My mind was occupied most of the day. So, having 2 workout sessions, updating my social sites, checking & responding to emails and lastly meeting with my manager, kept my attention. But I did talk to my ex on the phone tonight... It started with BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) messages & I was cool with that, but she wanted to talk (probably because she got tired of it LOL) on the phone. I hesitated at first. It's been a long time since we've talked on the phone. But I did alright though... It felt weird at first, but because of how her personality is I got comfortable real quick. Laughter does that for me... She's always been able to make me laugh. Basically we talked for about 35 minutes so it was a relief to get thru the phone call without getting emotional. LOL!

So, enough about that... LOL! My meeting was productive & I'm hoping that the momentum I have increases. Not trying to be slowed down. There are a few things I want to accomplish & I'm not letting anyone get in the way of that, be a distraction or waste my time. Time is too precious! With that being said, I believe that things will be fine. I trust my manager. And I'm trusting that my web designer & public relations specialist will exhibit excellence & exceed my expectations. Also, I hope to meet their expectations as well. It's definitely a two-way street!

Moving on....

I really got my butt kicked in my workout sessions today!!! My abs are killing me right now as I type... Breathing hurts... LOL! Just kidding! A little soreness is expected & comes with the territory. Especially after not working out at all in the last 5 years... I'm definitely being re-conditioned. My trainer is cool tho. He's not gonna let up which is a good thing. I need to be pushed! I'm not a quitter anyway, so I'm in for the long haul. Feel free to go on this journey with me. The more, the merrier!!! LOL!

My day is complete & I'm in rest mode now so check back to tomorrow to see my progress... I think I'll be alright. GOD got my back. GOD never lets me down. Stay tuned.... Thanks for listening.
