Recovery: Day 4

What's up world!!! Here's my recap from yesterday...

Not much happened. I rested from the workouts that kicked my butt the day before! LOL! So, basically I just rested to recuperate from Wednesday. In addition to that, I went to get the "HawK" touched up so I could be clean for the weekend. Doesn't sound like much, but I had follow-up emails & music to research as well. My days aren't always exciting. LOL! Boring... LOL!

I had my regular gig @ MGM inside Ignite Lounge. It's called the Ultimate Ballroom Experience. I must admit that this is the best gig I've had as a DJ. Being able to see people dance all night & enjoy themselves for real is such a good thing to see. And what's even crazier is that the floor is packed like all night!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! It's actually surreal to me at times... But, real talk, I'm very grateful to have a gig like this. I even get to get out on the floor & dance a lil bit too! LOL! So much fun!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

So, lets see... Since the first day of this "recovery" blog, a few things have changed... First, I've decided that dating is not an option. It just doesn't make any sense at all since I still have feelings for my ex-girlfriend. Second, I decided that I wouldn't give up. I love her too much to just walk away without at least attempting to show her that I've changed for the better & I'm serious. Lastly, after a few conversations we had, she has expressed that she wants to see me & I'm really excited but nervous at the same time. I'm hoping that whatever time we spend together we truly express ourselves. It's still a chance she may still want to move on but I'm not in denial about it. I'm fully aware of what "could be". I've accepted it & willing to face everything. I'm hoping for the best because deep down in my heart I still believe she's the woman I will spend the rest of my life with. And I'm willing & committed to showing her the love she expects, wants, desires & deserves.

No more talking. Just action. Praying for the best. If it's GOD's will, then it will be. I believe.
