What's up world!!! Day 5 has passed... I considered it to be a good day. Got my "HawK" shaped up @ the barbershop then got a massage!!! Great way to start a weekend, huh??? So, I'm looking fresh & clean & feeling awesome! So, after grabbing something to eat I sit down & update a few of my social sites as usual. And watch one of my favorite movies, Coach Carter. Nothing major...
What's funny is that every time I get on facebook, twitter or any of my other sites, it just seems as if time flies by!!! I look up & the movie is about to end, I still needed to burn a hustle CD for one of the security officers at MGM & it's now time to make my way to Ignite... SMH. So, I burn the CD super quick & hop in the ride to get ready for what I was hoping would be a good night. Sometimes I get in a zone when I DJ & I usually know before I start... Tonight was one of those nights. And to my surprise we had a huge birthday party in Ignite & there was a domino effect like out of this world!!! People were everywhere!!!! I started at 9pm & by 10:30pm Ignite is really busy... I'm like WHOA!!!! Bet!!! Now I was even more motivated to tear da house down!!! Let's just say the fire in the glass walls weren't the only thing hot & blazing... LOL!
To sum it up, I had a very good night. And even had a few surprise guests... My homies DJ Whip & DJ CNS stopped thru, which was good. Love kicking it with those dudes. They're definitely good people. Plus, I get motivated when I'm around them. They're a good source of inspiration. Also, a few of my homegirls came out & kicked it with me. I appreciate it when my friends can make it out to my gigs... Feels good to see that. Nothing better than when the ones you love and/or care about have your back. LOVE IT!!!!
As you can see, Day 5 was cool. Let's just hope Day 6 is just as good or better... It's already starting to feel like one of those days. After talking with my best friend, it's apparent that what I've suspected for quite some time may be a reality (concerning my ex)... So, I really gotta dig deep & just follow my heart. I'm like so nervous... SMH. Never have been a nervous person for the most part. I guess due to the uncertainty, it has triggered this response. I think I'll be fine. Love truly can have you on an "emotional roller coaster"... I'm all buckled up though. No turning back now. The answer will be revealed soon enough. Stay tuned....
